Bicolour Mood

From trench coats to leather perfectos, bicolour has had an impressive success amongst the refined and sophisticated. Rather minimalistic, the piece is already a bit of a statement. Therefore, the simpler the rest of the outfit, the better. So make sure you dress it up slightly down and throw some denim or white shirt in the equation too. Check out the cool dudes around...

MaxMara have named a coat after the Duchess of Cambridge 
The Italian haute couture brand have paid tribute to Duchess Catherine by naming one of their outerwear pieces The Kate.
The Duchess wore the beige cashmere coat from the label during a visit to Cambridge last November and as a result, it sold out instantly. Now, as a mark of thanks, the label has reissued the coat and renamed it after her. The knee-length piece has a high neck and a bow-fronted belt and is available from the Italian label's diffusion line, MaxMara Studio.



Karl Largerfeld stars in a new video game 
The online game 'Je Veux Les Lunettes De Karl' - challenges players to try and remove the Chanel creative designer's trademark sunglasses, which he is never seen without.
The challenge went live on Wednesday, giving people the chance to win free Lagerfeld sunglasses or limited-edition Tokidoki figurines of the iconic fashion designer.
The fashion designer appears as a Tokidoki cartoon and is never seen without his sunglasses in the game.
Players have to click on his fast-moving figure in an attempt to remove his shades, and if they are too slow he taps his foot impatiently.
The game has been set up by Optic 2000, Karl's exclusive eyewear distributor in France. Only French residents can claim prizes.

A dungaree which was one of our favourite fashion trend during childhood has made a huge comeback to the fashion world again. The word "dungaree" comes from Dongri – the area of Mumbai which produced the rough calico used to make them. Cool, right? So, try on!

Sarah Jessica Parker is launching a shoe line
The 'Sex and the City' actress - whose character Carrie Bradshaw was known for her love of Manolo Blahnik shoes - is teaming up with the fashion brand's CEO George Malkemus to launch her own line of footwear called SJP.
The SJP range - which will be available exclusively in Nordstrom stores in the US in 2014 - will also include chic handbags and trench coats, and the actress revealed her line was inspired by the '70s and '80s.
The stylish star previously had her own clothing range, Bitten, at now-defunct retail chain Steve & Barry's. She also served as creative director for Halston until 2011.

The Design Museum in London is launching the exhibition 'Hello My Name is Paul Smith' in November, to take visitors on a journey through Paul Smith’s world. The exhibition will showcase and celebrate the brand through collections selected by Paul. The different stages of design and production will be explored, offering a rich insight into his design process and highlighting how the principles of traditional craftsmanship of tailoring and techniques are retained but given a contemporary edge. If you are in London between 15 November 2013 and 9 March 2014, it worth a visit!

Hunger Games: Catching Fire


Covergirl will release a 'Hunger Games: Catching Fire' make-up line
The cosmetics brand has announced it will team with Lionsgate, the producers of the eagerly anticipated blockbuster movie - which stars Jennifer Lawrence as sprightly heroine Katniss Everdeen - on a new range inspired by the movie, called the Capitol Collection. It's not yet known what beauty products the line will entail, but in the films, residents of the fictitious Capitol are known for their bright, bold and eccentric-coloured make-up. The Capitol Collection will be accompanied by the launch of the film in November. Wait and see…
